So, here are 6️⃣ meals to prep Desi style and our method for simple meal prep! 💕

But first, here’s what meal prepping really is:

✅ Dedicating a block of time to batch-cook ingredients and/or prepare entire meals for the week ahead to make feeding yourself and your family easier each day.

And here’s what it’s not:

❌ A one-size-fits-all process that looks the same every week for every household and person. It also does not necessarily mean prepping, cooking, and portioning every single meal for the week ahead.

How often should you meal prep?

Some people do this every Sunday and some prep food in bulk 2x per week. Remember, no plan is one-size-fits-all!

Here are 6 of our favorite Desi Foods to Meal Prep – and try the ✨3, 2, 1 METHOD✨

  1. Garlic Ginger Paste for any of your favorite dishes
  2. Daal with Bombay Potatoes and a Veggie Stew
  3. Rice with some onions and green chilis
  4. Dosa Batter with Chicken Curry or Kheema
  5. Veggies for Chaats
  6. Pureed Tomatoes for any of your favorite dishes

👉 3 veggies, 2 proteins, 1 carb
