Meet Our Coaches: The Women Behind it All

COACH TINA

Compassionate. Encouraging.  Nurturing.

Coach Tina Naidu-Patel brings both heart and science to the BBR team. A NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach with a certification in Pre- and Postnatal Coaching, she’s spent over a decade transforming her own relationship with food, movement, and body image—and now helps others do the same.

Born in Bombay and raised in Texas from the age of 14, Tina grew up navigating two cultures and the pressure-filled messaging around weight, health, and appearance. As a teen, she was often labeled “overweight” and struggled with hormonal imbalances and self-image, internalizing the idea that “skinny = happy.” Her journey included everything from food restriction and calorie obsession to burnout and rebound weight gain. But over time, she found her way to a more empowered, educated, and compassionate approach—anchored in sustainable habits, balanced nutrition, and strength-based movement.

With a career in healthcare management, Tina understands firsthand the toll chronic disease and lifestyle stress can take. That’s why she’s so passionate about proactive health, especially within the South Asian community. Whether she’s helping clients navigate a family trip without food anxiety, or teaching how to enjoy chaat and hit your protein goals, Tina’s coaching is rooted in real life—not restriction.

Outside of coaching, you’ll find her creating fridge bowls from leftovers, dancing her heart out as a BollyFit instructor, or dreaming of pani puri and vada pav. Her mantra? “You are your only competition. Cut the noise and feed your focus.”

Certifications:

NASM Certified Personal Trainer | NASM Certified Nutrition Coach | GGS Pre- and Postnatal Coach | Health Mindset Coach

COACH ABRAR

Grounded. Practical. Candid.

Coach Abrar Naely is a Registered Dietitian with seven years of experience helping people ditch diet culture, improve their relationship with food, and reach their goals the sustainable way. Born and raised in Oklahoma and now based in Dallas, she brings both clinical expertise and real-world relatability to every client interaction.

Abrar’s passion for nutrition began early—translating food labels and doctor’s instructions for her mom, who was managing diabetes without fluency in English. That experience sparked a lifelong curiosity about the power of food, and eventually led her to earn her Master’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma. After working in hospitals and eating disorder clinics, she made the leap to full-time coaching because she saw how deeply people needed personalized support—not just generic meal plans or quick-fix diets.

Now, she’s here to help you balance your plate and your life. Whether you want to improve metabolic health, lose weight without food fear, or just stop obsessing over every bite, Coach Abrar will guide you with empathy, science, and zero judgment. She’s passionate about helping women enjoy their cultural foods, fuel their bodies, and feel confident in their choices.

COACH CATHERINE

Fun. Direct. Motivating.

Coach Catherine English’s love for movement started early — so much so that she studied Exercise Science in college and turned her passion into a purpose: helping women build strong, sustainable habits for life.

But her path to wellness hasn’t always been smooth. Catherine has navigated her own struggles with depression and PMDD, along with the mental health ups and downs that come with all-or-nothing thinking around food and fitness. Through her journey, she learned that true health isn’t just physical — it’s mental and emotional, too.
Now, she’s on a mission to help women ditch perfectionism, find their strength, and build a mindset that supports lasting change. Her coaching style is filled with empathy, encouragement, and a deep understanding of what it means to show up on the hard days.

Through therapy, intuitive eating, and eventually strength training and macro tracking, she transformed her relationship with food and her body—and now helps other women do the same.

As a coach, Yasmin is thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and deeply committed to helping women break free from diet culture, emotional eating, and negative self-talk so they can create results that last. She lives in suburban Ohio with her husband Quinton, toddler Roman, and their dog Barkley. When she’s not coaching, she loves baking, hiking, and discovering hidden gem restaurants.

Now, she helps other women break free from crash diets, rebuild their strength after baby, and stop putting themselves last.

Her coaching style is warm, realistic, and grounded in science, with a no-nonsense approach to helping you feel your best—physically and mentally. Coach Gayatri (Gaya) is an OFNC Certified Coach passionate about helping women ditch the “eat less, do more” mentality and finally feel strong, fueled, and free in their bodies. After years of trying different workouts and navigating postpartum struggles—including a long plateau after baby #2—she realized that sustainable fitness isn’t about extremes, but consistency, self-compassion, and learning how to train and eat in a way that fits your life. Now, she balances her full-time job in healthcare IT, raising two daughters, and coaching women to build muscle, fuel better, and stop punishing themselves with cardio.

Originally from India and now based in Long Island, NY, Gaya brings a real-world, relatable perspective to her coaching—especially for busy South Asian women and working moms. She’s especially passionate about helping women lift heavier, eat more, and feel confident doing it. When she’s not in her basement gym boxing or lifting, you can find her reading, watching rom-coms, or enjoying buffalo chicken pizza with her girls.

Originally from Hyderabad, India and now based in Minnesota with her husband and two adult kids, Shwetha’s own journey into fitness began after years of trying restrictive diets, overexercising, and feeling frustrated by the lack of results. What finally worked wasn’t another “quick fix,” but learning how to fuel her body properly, train in a way that made her feel strong, and build habits that fit her life.

Now, she brings that same practical, empowering approach to her clients. She’s especially passionate about supporting South Asian women, pre- and postnatal clients, and busy moms who want to take care of their health while still showing up for their families. COACH MICHELLE

Michelle has been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade, with the last four years dedicated to coaching women as a health coach and personal trainer. She holds a Master’s in Public Health, along with certifications in personal training, group fitness, and nutrition coaching. Her mission is to help women transform their bodies — and their relationship with food — from the inside out.
Michelle’s journey into coaching is deeply personal. As a teenager, she was told by doctors that she might never walk again — a challenge she refused to accept. Determined to prove them wrong, she rebuilt her strength and health through movement and proper nutrition. Later, she overcame her own struggles with an eating disorder, which gave her a profound appreciation for the importance of a healthy, balanced relationship with food.
She is passionate about helping women break free from restrictive dieting, understand the power of strength training, and build confidence that extends far beyond the gym. Michelle also brings unique cultural insight to her coaching. Being half Portuguese-American and having worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, she understands the deep social and cultural connections tied to food.
Originally from just outside Boston, Michelle now lives in Austin, Texas. When she’s not coaching, you can find her training for her next bikini bodybuilding competition, playing flag football, experimenting in the kitchen, or traveling.
