This is one of our most popular and delicious recipes. The secret ingredient is CHICKPEA FLOUR, also called besan flour in Indian cooking. Chickpea flour really adds a nice nutty flavor plus a lil bit of protein into your bread!⠀
You can get besan flour at your local indian store or probably a health food store. You can use all chickpea flour to make it gluten free OR do half regular flour and half chickpea flour.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup brown sugar⠀
2-3 mashed ripe bananas⠀
1/4 cup melted butter (you can try using peanut butter or nut butter)⠀
1 egg⠀
2 teaspoons baking powder⠀
1 tsp salt⠀
1 cup chickpea flour (besan) OR USE 1/2 cup regular flour and 1/2 cup chickpea flour.⠀
Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips⠀

DIRECTIONS:⠀
- Preheat oven to 350⠀
- Mash the bananas. Mix them with the sugar, melted butter, salt, and baking powder. Add the egg slowly.⠀
- Mix in the besan and the chocolate chips⠀
- Bake for 40 mins or until cooked through fully⠀
